I certainly don't pretend to know all the ins and outs, but I know that since Covid happened, we've known about a shite ton of supply chain type issues that raised costs for companies, and those were passed on to us the consumers.


But it all comes back to your first point, the competition and consumers will take are of pricing. If prices never come down like some are saying, then that would suggest current prices are set right where they "should be" if you will.
