re: Most of The Rant was right. JD just has to pull the trigger on what the D gives him.

JD said it himself after the FSU game that he has to allow his receivers to make more plays. He also said it last year in interviews. Brian Kelly has said it numerous times including at halftime this week - he made a comment about how JD is doing that and the results show.

I don't understand how there has to be this fight amongst the fan base over it. It's a known and admitted issue he has. We should all be excited at his play this weekend and look forward to him continuing it moving forward.

The lingering point of contention was JD pulling the trigger against what the defense gives him especially throwing deep when the defense plays up. He now he has two games in a row where that has not been an issue.

It’s the most glaring thing between the success and failure of the offense. Receivers are not going to be wide open on every play. When the offense struggles, it’s usually because Daniels refuses to make contested passes and just takes off or takes the sack. It’s why the receivers often get frustrated with him going back to last year.

The other half of the fanbase caused the fights by shitting on Daniels every chance they can.
