Supposedly the Dularge overpass in Houma was originally designed to go over the Houma Navigational Canal too. Edwards bought the land where the overpass comes down and had the bridge redesigned to not go over the Houma Navigational Canal and instead on a tract of land that he owned.
That's all Hearsay and I have not clue if it's true or not.

That shite happened and still happens on the damn time. Edwards was a POS crook, but that story there (if true) sure as hell ain’t out of the ordinary.
