Not all, obviously, but there are plenty of non unionized plants in the south (Alabama education bad! Waaa!) which prove that the UAW isn't necessary. Nissan rejected the union in Mississippi a few years ago, because the workers were happy.

That is an arse raping, in one of the poorest, most uneducated states in the country. Turns out, they like jobs.
