It took brpd 2 hours to respond to a dude breaking in through my living room window. When the cop did finally show up, he told me, in all seriousness, to call 911 if the person came back and they would be right over.
I just laughed in his face.
Oh. And the cop reported it as “simple vandalism” rather than breaking and entering.
Gotta pad the stats however you can!

Should’ve told them to take their time, they could pick the corpse up at their earliest convenience.

Wouldn’t that be home invasion, even?

Were you home? Was your response to a guy trying to break into your home to call the Brpd?
I’m just trying to discern a scenario where I observe a dude breaking into my home with me and/ or my family in it that doesn’t involve a couple of 9mm hollow points being returned to the gentleman for his efforts.
