My wife and kids can’t make it work on $250k per year. There’s no limit to how much money women can spend. We were happier in our starter home making $90k

At least when you get divorced, you know exactly what you're going to send her. Just don't volunteer to pick up kid activity expenses. Your daughter will all of a sudden be in multiple competition dance teams.

Ain't that the truth. I had more expendable income when we were first starting out.

With the inflation, $250k is the old $100k.
