It shows that you don't have to send your kids to private schools to get a good education and be around good kids/families

OK, but from data perspective, the results produced by Dutchtown aren’t even close to the results produced by the Baton Rouge private schools and BRHS.

But yes, you can receive a moderate education at Dutchtown.

What a moronic take.

You can receive an excellent education at Dutchtown, provided that you are taking AP, Dual Enrollment, and honors / gifted.

On level = okay.

SWE / SPED = Probably not very good.

As for just using data points, as noted, EVERYONE tests at public schools.

If you are comparing apples to apples, the students in gifted / honors are more than comparable to most private schools.

A blanket statement disparaging the value of an education at Dutchtown is, as noted, moronic.

It would be like stating that LSU’s engineering school sucks because of the students enrolled in journalism.

Dutchtown has good scores DESPITE the accomplishments of the top performing students being mitigated by the rest of the student body.
