Lab all day but I will say meet the dam and sire first before picking one out of the litter.

I had a dachshund growing up and he was awesome. Super loyal, playful and great watchdog. Dude would hear anything that was unusual and let us know. Only downside was he barked a lot.

Now I have a shih tzu and my whole family loves her. She was super easy to train and loves to play with everyone that comes over, including other pets. Great lap dog. There's some maintenance with grooming but it's not bad.
