All those mixed designer breeds are essentially mutts. there's no way around it. They are not recognized by the AKC, and i believe the UKC as well.

I would seriously look up common health problems with these designer breeds if you are considering one as a pet.

Ok...

Whatever you want to call doesn't matter to me. Ours isn't registered and we picked her up from a lady who had a litter not some breeder type.

I was just putting it out there how great she's been with kids.

A lot of registered breeds have their own health issues as well.

While that's true, I'd suggest that some of these "mutts" absolutely show consistency when it comes to demeanor. To the OPs question, it's meaningful.

I've found most mixes with poodles are really, really good dogs.
