I get the wanting to move completely but please don’t do this to your kid at this point. This happened to me the first day of high school (came home to have parents tell me dad got transferred clear across the country). Not to go mental or anything, but that had a HUGE negative affect on me that I probably didn’t recover from until my mid-20’s. I would heavily involve them in the process and get their take on it. Trust me.

And as someone else mentioned, WFH can end at any time.

I broke the cycle of my family living in the south, but I did it right before we had kids.
