Here's the problems.

1 - the outskirts of campus aren't exactly the best areas in some spots.

2 - people would have to walk to these parking garages on the outskirts?

3 - there would be a line of cars in the parking garage waiting to all leave.

Given #2 and #3 I doubt you are saving very much time, if any.

But at least you have the brains to think up a possible solution. The rest of the low IQers know I'm right, they just down vote to remain anonymous and don't say anything.

I'm all for LSU expanding into those areas. If BR cannot improve it then let's do it through LSU. Yes, there would be walking. Essentially you would create a few hubs to concentrate cars in certain areas and contradlow them in opposite directions. Reduce the traffic inside campus and allow the traffic to dilute as it gets further away. Plus there would be more parking in general.
