Just feels different for some reason.

Maybe it’s the endless commercials, the new clock rules, the endless talk about NIL. No one plays defense anymore. I feel like it’s all about padding stats and Slingin the rock.

It’s like the whole college football landscape turned into the Big 12 circa 2012 with free agency now.

I’m not pissed, just feels different man. This isn’t what college football felt like before.

The SEC may be down as a whole.

That's what's different about it.

You’re 100% correct. And no one has them dudes on defense this year I feel like. You could argue Koolaid at Bama but he just got abused by Texas all night. Perkins at LSU has been schemed out of importance, even tonight Vs Grambling.

It’s different for sure but other than an embarrassing slate of week one matchups, it’s been pretty entertaining.

after 2 weeks I will say it's been fun.

but the real chaos hasn't happened yet.

It feels different because the SEC no longer has a monopoly on the elite talent thanks to NIL and the transfer portal.

The playfield field has been evened and there will be more parity moving forward

I think conference realignment has really affected CFB in a negative way

Free Agency has changed things. You have really good players not starting for great teams who portal out to get playing time and its moved lower teams up a notch. And the new clock moves games faster yet same clock time as before just more commercials. And old guard coaches like Saban now on the decline.

It will shake out every year has upsets in first few weeks. Until games are played no one really knows.

I swear those commercial breaks in the Bama-Texas game lasted 5-6 minutes last night.

Yep. And you can tell last night with the bama Texas game. You didn’t have those second year 5 stars coming off the bench in the fourth quarter for bama.
