Water and herbicide rate mixture advice.

Just sprayed Celsius WG. I used the 3.2 grams per 1000 square feet rate. I have approximately 15,000 square feet so I put 46 grams of product and 15 gallons of water with surfactant. I had about 5 gallons of product left over. Am I ok since I put the 3.2 grams per gallon or did I not put enough product out? I was told that as long as you put the correct chemical in water, the amount of water didn’t matter.

You did not apply the entire 48 g (3.2 x 15 = 48 g) over the 15K sq ft; by having 5 gallons remaining (10 gallons sprayed) you applied 32 g over 15 K sq ft or 2.1 g/1000 sq.
Water is the carrier in this case, not a dilutant per se, but since you failed to spray the entire 15 gallons over the 15 K you fell short in your targeted application rate.

Gotcha. I just have to slow down my sprayer. I drove to fast.
