Glitchy Pixel 7

I bought a Pixel 7 off of Swappa in May. Phone worked fine from delivery until the beginning of August when the display started glitching. Sometimes it is a portion of the screen, other it's the whole screen. When this happens, the device momentarily goes unresponsive. It initially happened, then was fine for a week or so, but now it's happening daily.
I've tried reboots, reboot into safe mode to eliminate an app causing this, and turned off or turned down settings to no avail. I was on the lastest software and have tried the Android 14 beta to see if it would remedy the situation, but has not.
Has anyone seen this issue or know what could be causing this?

My FIL has a 6a on my plan. He dropped his and it was doing similar. No cracked screen.

Yeah, screen not cracked, no visible damage at all, looks new.
I'm thinking it could need a screen replacement due to a connection loose or something, but unsure.
Are places like ubreakifix pretty good at identifying and repairing issues like that? I don't want to replace the display if it's a deeper hardware issue.
Love the phone other than this.

We had insurance on his phone and Google replaced it. Not sure of the fix. I would think a screen replacement would do it. I've never used any of those places.

uBreakFix is a Google authorized service center. It's where Google directed me for a warranty camera repair. They should be able to identify and repair.

Definitely sounds like a hardware issue.

They said it could be a screen or mother board connection. They’ll replace the screen under warranty, and if that doesn’t work google will replace the device.
Definitely hardware. Thanks for the tip on them being authorized

The ribbon for the display is probably disconnected.

That is exactly what the tech said was likely the issue
