FSU was the better team. It’s a long season.

Some of the calls on defense were truly baffling and having to break in a new secondary is always challenging when the opponent is better than the team you played last year, FSU brought back a lot of talent and the players they added made them a much tougher team to play

On offense, it's still a decision making thing with Daniels. He has to be better on his reads in both the run and pass game. The only olinemen you lost was Bradford and I expect better play overall than what we saw.

On special teams, didn't they used to invite students out to catch punts from the jug machine. They might do a better job fielding punts than players on the roster. It's year 2 and fielding punts is still a challenge. Forget returning them, just catch the ball.

All I’m asking is, how the hell will you feel about this post made after game one, if BK wins…..the west.

I will feel great knowing he did exactly what he was predicted to do by most.

Win win

I made a thread the night of the game indicating how baffled I was that House hadn’t made some better halftime adjustments. That seemed to be his MO last year.

If you can say we are worse than last year based on 1 game then you are an idiot

Maybe they are not worse. Maybe they had a bad second half?

Maybe FSU is better this year. Maybe house had a game plan to contain travis and make him a passer. The plan was to stop the run and make him beat you with his arm. Which sounded good until he did it.

I think that game was combination of a bad game plan and poor execution in the first game.

FSU has over 70 Jr’s and SR’s. Highly experience team that has been in the system a while. They are going to have a really good season and probably have a pretty good drop off next year.

I think we will be fine. We aren’t a play off team. However, if Mason smith stays healthy, lance heard is who we think he is, this team will drastically improve as the year goes. Smith, wingo, Swinson, and Perkins on the field at the same time should wreak havoc and help the dbs.

Jones to guard will help the running game. It will make offense harder to defend.

FSU had the advantage of knowing there team from the start. For the exception of a handful of players, they have had the majority of their team together for a while.
