Okay, so he’s clearly nuts.

But it’s kind of stupid that he’s not allowed to do this just because the Coast Guard said so. If he wants to go out there and die, that should be his choice.

Don’t think you need extra context to form that conclusion. Man was in a hamster ball thinking he could get from Florida to Portugal
