I see this point being made as if it excuses the underthrow. Yes we're all aware a WR should catch a ball that hits them in the hands even if they have to wait for it. BTJ needs to come down with that ball. I haven't seen anyone say anything to the contrary.

But that doesn't just *poof* absolve Daniels of the poor throw. It was objectively a poor throw that made BTJ have to stop in his tracks and wait for it which allowed the DB to recover and at the very least get in BTJ's sightline.

Poor throw and uncatchable are totally different. The play was there. The ball was there.

The ball was dropped

It doesn't. A perfect throw could've been a td...if he catches it.
