re: What to do when your ears pop on an airplane?

I (knock on wood) hadn’t had it bad since I was about 10. I remember being in tears on descent once, believe some of it had to do with allergies/ stopped up sinuses I used to have.

Anyway, for the return we tried these things out called “Ear Planes”, and it seemed to help with pressure equalization. Basically are just a type of ear plug. You can still find them at a lot of the airport stores.
