I’m sure this has been addressed, but the saying is “stuck between a rock and a hard place.” So you are between your wife (the rock) and a hard place (family). It’s annoying me that you haven’t fixed the title yet.

Also, most people are spot on. You should always be with your wife unless she’s being completely unreasonable for no reason. But this seems like your family/sister is the unreasonable one. So you need to suck it up and stop being a pussy and either confront your sister on her bullshite or tell her to frick right off. And if she asks why, you explain to her that she’s being unreasonably cuntish toward your wife for no reason. Your wife should be your #1. Defend her against your a-hole family for chrissakes.
