You're pretty bad at reading this situation.

If the above is 100% true, this is your sisters fault, not wife. Your wife is correct for not wanting to attend and you should have her back, this should be a really easy one.

Or tell her the truth, and that it's her fault that she doesn't trust your wife but your wife has done nothing to warrant that.

Family or not, why would you even want to be around someone who treats your wife like that?
