Imagine trying to deal with a patient that can’t actually tell you what’s going on.

The vet who all our neighbors up here recommended when we first moved up here was country, experienced and simply brilliant with pets.
A young cat adopted us and her left front leg was hurt and she had dragged it on the ground before adopting us. We took her to the brilliant vet. He walked into the examining room, glanced at her and said "Hurt left front paw: without reading the chart. He sat beside her, had her walk to him, felt her joints on both front legs and said "She's healing well. Anything I can do will be painful for her and will set her back several months.

He was correct,. She got most of the use of that paw back and lasted about fourteen more years.

He died. His business was sold to money makers.

We're just thankful to have reasonable spay/neuter through Young Williams in Knoxville and rabies shots through the county health department.
