People that are constantly afraid of any change at all to a 100yr old stadium drive me up a wall. You can have updates like LED lights, video boards, upgraded sound system, etc. and still have the pageantry and atmosphere of the old stadium. The 2 aren't mutually exclusive. And hear me out...it could possibly even improve the game atmosphere here in our year of the Lord 2023. Crazy I know.

I’d argue this greatly. The atmosphere in tiger stadium has been in severe decline the last 10 years. Anyone who goes to games regularly saw it. I went to every home game from 2012-2021. Obviously 2020 and 2021 are somewhat anomalies but even during the 2019 championship year, the atmosphere wasn’t even close to what it was for comparable games in 2012.

I think a lot of that has had to do with “modernizing” the atmosphere with more music, less band, and overall much more spoiled students.

Will that stop the pussies that leave at the half? Asking for a friend.
