Honestly it looks way better than it did last year.

ETA: Obviously, CB is a concern right now. If we can see that from the outside, the coaches know. They've earned the right to figure this out. I just think we've got more talent than we did coming into 2022.

Bingo, the Coaches know more. The constant negativity comes from the same people who say JD5 isn’t a good QB, he’s not serviceable, he’s good. Wingo is a freaking All American DT, not one person on here thought he’d be half as good as he is. Every negatiger thought Alright we got ol sure hands Bech back here to return k/p and he drops everything. Nabers the best WR in the SEC, strong hands, twitchy speed and he muffs the first 2 punts of the game. The problem is we’re playing a Top team right out of the gate and we along with CBK don’t know what to expect until LSU hits the field. Maason being out hurts substantially more this game because the opponent is that damn good. The DBs would benefit immensely with an elite pass rush(duh) but with Smith out it’s amplified. Football is Football, talent is about as equal as it gets between these two teams, I think we got a better OL, but they got AAs along their front. We have imo better safetys but they got Great WRs and we are going to get hurt at CB no matter who’s in there. This is as tough as an opponent to open the season in a long while as far as talent FSU’s possess. But we’re going to show up and hopefully show out, we’ve got to execute better at positions we’re strong at to make up for the weakness at CB. They’ll get better but there’s no preseason or practices that’s going to simulate the game and FSUs offense, they’re the real deal.
We are Going TO WIN - there’s nothing we can do about it but gnaw our finger nails off(if that’s your thing) or curl up in the corner in the fetal position, but it’s going down Sunday Night and it can’t get here fast enough. And there’s not one thing that we can suggest, whine about, boast about or anything else to determine the outcome.
In short, well long way about it, 1) Go thru your pregame or game day ritual 2) cheer your fkn a$$ off!
The one thing I do know is We got better Coaches n CBK & Coach House! Tigers win!
