With the "storm" today... There was widespread outages in Metairie and some in Orleans... It is absolutely ridiculous that there were outages with that small amount of rain... I just checked and there is still a large amount of outages at 10:45 pm and the "storm" has been over for at least 5 hours...

Must be nice for a kid to be getting $500 a week, or a month for allowance. Either way it doesn’t matter. It just shows the difference between the two worlds. New Orleans is bad, but when the power company, Entergy has different rules for different parts of the state, that’s the problem. I know it’s separate, and it’s BS. Don’t worry about paying a bill south of the lake, no problem. It’ll just be passed off to the other customers 80 miles away that don’t have that option.

It’s all the same. Mayor, public utilities, newspapers. Each one is an embarrassment or a failure in its own way, and he’s worked for them all, but so do a lot of other people in that circle.

As a former employee, you can’t even begin to imagine what a disaster that place is. Some of the dumbest people I’ve worked with work at Entergy.
