I think you are give DA way too much credit here. The medical staff forced the change in QBs. To DA's credit he didn't make the change back since Dalton was actually making the offense look somewhat competent.

Also, the only reason the team kept Winston is because he was under contract. I believe/hope they would have let him walk if he were a FA.

You bring Winston back because the cap hit is the exact same whether he's here or not (salary 100% guaranteed). I like him better than Haener/Hill if Carr gets injured and you need someone to finish the game. If you need 1-2 starts, go with Hill. Need several starts, run with the rookie because we're F'ed regardless of who starts.
