If he's fully healthy, Briles might carve out a niche role for him because of his versatility. Good hands, good blocker, good possession receiver.
A good blocker can be the difference between a 7-yard gain and a TD on a running play. It doesn't get glorified or make headlines, so most are oblivious to it, but it's crucial to winning.
LSU also had Thaddeus Moss, Richard Dickson, Eric Edwards, and David Jones on those teams.
Charles Clay and Niles Paul made NFL careers out of niche H-back/TE/receiver roles. Look at how effective Taysom Hill is with the Saints in his niche role.
Of course you want explosive speed at WR. But you can also have guys like Bech with more versatile skill sets.
