If he's TRULY a character hire, we are DOOMED.

I think he was a lazy, incompetent hire. I DESPERATELY want to be wrong about that. I want LSU to win like they did for most of Dale's tenure, and would have FOR ALL of the general's tenure.

If you or others think we aren't still paying under the table to our football players/families even under nil, just wow!!

BK has the luxury of the infrastructure being set up to illegally induce these guys to come to LSU. Wade obviously didn't have that same perk.

Recruiting is a cutthroat business. If you don't dance all over the rules, you have ZERO chance of being competitive.

Psst!!! Don't tell anybody else, but coach Gay at Puke, Self at KU, Cal and Pitino WHEREVER they've been, hell any successful coach anywhere, run FILTHY programs.

You cannot win without doing so. Period. Stop.

If this offends anyone's set of ethics, I would suggest you not watch big time college athletics (football and men's basketball).

There are plenty of examples in today's college landscape, especially in men's basketball, that show a team can be turned around IMMEDIATELY if the coach has the skill set to do it.

I am positive that if Wade had inherited what Eminem did last year, you can bet your arse he would have been at least in the NIT, and maybe even in the NCAAs.

You know what brother, lets give him 10 cycles. Actually, 15. In 15 cycles he’ll have us right where we were when Wade was at the helm no doubt. He’s a man of great character — we’re lucky to have him. We should give him a raise and an extension so no one tries to poach him!
