I believe LSU has taken a huge leap in the offense compared to last year and probably in the D, too. I am pretty sure that LSU will not make 3+major mistakes in ST including a blocked extra point. FSU has also made a leap but I don’t think it is as big as LSU, particularly on O. LSU will be hard to control on offense this year. IMO they will be almost impossible to hold back by even a good defense. In addition to being strong they will be very versatile.

My sentiments exactly. Last season was LSU's FIRST game with an entirely new staff, and full of new players after the roster was gutted after '21. The offseason was spent trying to put together a roster and coaches/players familiarizing themselves with each other and their surroundings. And still only got beat by the absolute slimmest of margins. Not to mention Maason Smith didn't play and Harold Perkins was yet to emerge.

Maybe the biggest unmentioned factor in this will be revenge. LSU has been looking toward this game with revenge on their mind all offseason. Im betting they come out with their hair on fire.

FSU has a lot of their returning talent and will be a good team this year, but they aint gonna be ready for what's coming.

LSU pulls away in the 2nd half. 34-21

Calling now for an ironic twist. LSU puts this game away thanks to a punt return for a TD late in the game.
