Reporters saw him working with jack lbs at times. He’ll be moved around quite a bit still.

On obvious passing downs I guarentee he will rush the qb. But FSU has an athletic TE in bell who you gotta account for

That's not exactly what I heard, this is what I got. He asked the question (rhetorically) was it a great run or was it bad tackling? Then he said probably it was a little of both. He did not emphasize whether it was more, less, or about the same one versus the other.
I got more of the vibe that he is a great runner but still has to learn to do some things better, whether that is blocking, learning his plays and hole selection, ball security, or any other host of things was not entirely clear. Just don't expect to see him as the feature back. In other words, not Herschel 2.0

Sounded like he was directing that towards Denver Harris while also answering the question.
So much better communicator than the previous head guys. Hopefully the results on the field continue to come but he is a pro in these press conferences.
My thing with Harris is if the guys ahead of him aren't getting it done, then he is going to get his shot. LSU will find out in game 1 what their corners are made of.
