So this transgender person had the record. But I’m pretty sure a male power lifter wanted to prove a point at how stupid allowing transgender females to compete with biological females truly is. So he identified as a woman and crushed this transgender’s record causing the transgender woman to bitch and complain.

Are you sure or just “pretty sure?” I hope that’s true. It’s the kind of stuff needed to shine a light on the absurdity of it all. Although that should have been clear years ago.

But what also should have been clear, if we as a society are gonna tolerate transgenders (and I have nothing inherently against the actual ones) and allow them to compete in sanctioned events, shouldn’t there be a 3rd category just for them? (Shouldn’t there be a 3rd bathroom for them?) And shouldn’t they and their staunchest advocates be responsible for creating the infrastructures for those 3rd categories?

If the only reason they want to compete against women isn’t because of the physical advantage, then what is it? Language matters, and their own language separates them. They don’t identify as “women,” they identify as “trans.” Or “trans women” or whatever the phrase du jour. So why compete against women unless it’s strictly for the advantage?

And I’m not against them competing. But if they can’t find the resources to allocate towards creating that 3rd category (or even in the meantime), the default has to be competing against men/boys. If 6’4” Billy Joe with the 7” hose wants to put on makeup and wear a dress and go by Bobby Sue, cool. But he’s playing with the varsity boys.

But at the very least, shouldn’t we all be able to easily agree that as long as you have a dick, you play male sports and get dressed in male locker rooms? If you aren’t ready to commit to chopping it off, then you aren’t ready to compete against and change in front of women/girls. Is that rudimentary level of logic, fairness, and common sense too much to be able to agree to?

I recall watching a video of it. I'll try to find it.
