I like to look at this site every year about this time. It still looks bleak for the Saints from this perspective.....Also, click on the "most important games" on the left hand side. Not sure how they give such low importance to the Falcons-Chargers game.

If we lose a game, it will be next to impossible to make it. There is a real possiblity that we could not lose and still not make it. They are ALL important!!

Nah, it's not quite that bad.11-5 will make it with 99% certainty. 10-6 will get iffy, but if the loss comes to Detroit or Chicago I would say the odds are still pretty good that the Saints make it.....Hell, even 10-6 with a division loss would probably have us all watching other games the final week hoping for things to break right.

with a wn at TB this week it will be interesting to see how much those percentages change. This week is critical. Having a head to head sweep with the Bucs would mean the division title in event of tie record.

A little more encouraging looking at the whole NFC on THIS PAGE too.

Having 3 divisional games down the stretch is huge. If this team gets hot and goes maybe 4-1 down the stretch with 3 divisional wins they could get close.

5-0 and I'd bet they get in. If you can go 11-5 and miss the playoffs then man you just got beat out, you know?

the funny thing is we dont have a shot in hell to make the playoffs.
we're talking about the playoffs as we sit in last place in our division.

We don't? If we win the last 5 we are a lock to make the playoffs. 4 out of 5 and we have a 50/50 shot.

The last 5 games:
At tampa (we already beat them, but this will be the toughest game left)

Atlanta (yes they got us good, but I don't think we will lose to them at home)

At Chicago (They really aren't impressive)

At Detroit (lol)

Carolina (I think the last time they played well was against us)

The thing is we're not that far off from 1st place. Carolina and Tampa are 8-3 while we sit at 6-5, and we've got games left with both so we can cut right into that lead.

It isn't hopless..it's probably not going to happen but it can happen.

They werent impressive last year and they beat us.. I dont want to be captain obvious but I dont think we play well in Chicago in December

Looking back how important was the Washington and Minnesota game

Last year was the last game of the season that had no meaning.

I get what you are saying. But have the saints shown that they are consistent enough to mount a streak like that? You know the answer. Not saying its impossible, just saying look at our body of work so far.

and chicago's defense knows how to play against our short pass offense. That is one of the worst matchups in my opinion.

100% we make it if we go 11-5.

If we win all our division games and loose to the Bears we should still win the division.

The way Carolina and Tampa Bay are playing the hardest remaining game at this point looks to be against the Falcons.
