This is why I end up scratching my head when it comes to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and their selection of skill position players.
Using the metrics the voters typically go with to pick running backs, there is absolutely no excuse for Alexander to have not been inducted into Canton by now.

Shaun Alexander should have absolutely been in the HOF by now. But I feel like he's getting hosed because of how fast his career ended.
He was the best RB in the game one year, breaking the touchdown record. Then 3 seasons later he was out of the league.
