Did they take your RV passes you’ve had for years?

No season tickets no parking pass. That’s the rule

Pretty sure it's been the rule for a long time. If he skated by for a season or two, count yourself lucky.

My uncle was in charge of the allocation for years until he passed.

This story kind of reminds me of my Dad and uncle who for years bought four season tickets in my uncle’s name. One year my Dad went to pay my uncle for his share of the cost and my uncle said he didn’t renew them so they lost the tickets. Not sure if it was financial issues or that my uncle is just really absent minded. My Dad said he would have paid for all four to keep them.

Anyway if that didn’t kill their relationship, nothing will.

Understand your frustration but also understand the frustration of those who have season tickets and have no RV space. Season tickets holders should have space priority and then allow others, as space allows.
