For how many years the colleges exploited the players and did not share the revenue for the hits they were taking, I've enjoyed watching the colleges and coaches now squirm as the power transferred so heavily to the players.

I do think there is a better balance to be found though somewhere in the middle.

Meh. frick the players. It does my heart good seeing players who went to a school for money and then complain that they got stiffed.

You reap what you sow. I also love seeing players get cut if they aren’t performing. Your scholarship is only good now if you’re performing at a high level. Oh it’s not fair that you don’t get a free education anymore even if you suck? Sorry you wanted this. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Exploited by....giving them a platform to make millions if they are good enough to go pro, or by providing them a solid education that sets them up to make a very good living by them playing the same game that they played in high school, junior high, and elementary school?
