Asteroids
In the 81'-83' time period if you went anywhere in my hometown there would be one of two sets of initials in first.......mine was one of them.
Never did meet the other champ but my hats off to them as well

I worked at space port in Cortana mall for years in my teens. I was very good at all the games and top level at maybe 3. Missle command being my best overall.
There was one guy who was also very good overall and top level on a few but primarily defender. His initials were WCB. He was a true flip player. In tournament settings on defender you stop getting bonus ships every 10k after 9 and only get ships every 100k he could still play till he got tired.
I pretty much knew everyone who was good at every machine.
My manager encouraged me to play dragons lair to completion every couple hours because it drew a big crowd.
We had to repair track and field more than any game because of the fisting on the running events. We had to stop it. The pen trick was pretty common but the real pros used 2 fingers on each hand in perfect sync.
It was a glorious time.
