I'm happy to hear that he's starting to flash and come along. I really think he could be a versatile defender along the line. With Jones,Wormack, and him that's one hell of a trio.

I think defensive end/edge rusher is more concerning to me than the corners

I beg to differ, you can't make me belive between Wormack,Ovie,Swinson,Wingo, and O yeah HAROLD FREAKING PERKINS that we can't find a way to get edge pressure. It's just takes time to find the right combination sometimes. Last year once Perkins settled in with BJ and Wingo it was a wrap.

I heard an interview where they said he really needs to work on his pass rushing abilities. That will come in time.

Exactly.

The goal for LSU defense is to stop the run. If you get to 3rd and longs,
Harold Perkins becomes the rusher and now it’s an unreal pass rushing aspect. I think the DEs will be very surprising.

Also, even though it’s not the stand up Jack, Sai’vion Jones is gonna be a savage

Yeah his development has been a process because he just started playing football as JR in high school. But when he puts it together he's gonna be a problem against the run and as interior pass rusher on third downs.

Yup, he is a freak of nature. His ratings out of highschool where bc of his future. He has it all. Size speed, wingspan, and so on. Looking at some of his film as a junior I thought he looked like a baby giraffe. Everything was there, everyone knew it, but he’s just got to focus in on football, and learn his own body.

He will be amazing by the time he leaves LSU.

If he can develop and he gains 15-20 pounds on that frame he's gonna be an absolute terror on run and passing downs.
