I almost initially said this but a couple things to consider:

1. We beat Alabama on the road during the regular season. If they were "so good," that win should've counted more than it did. IMO

2. To answer the question, I'd take either triple OT loss from the same year to either Kentucky or Arkansas. We win either one of those, that Bama mulligan doesn't happen. Again, if there's any doubt, read #1 again.

Those were 2007, not 2011 - the season of the infamous loss to Bama in the NC.

Anyway, the 3 OT losses in 2007 are overstated. LSU didn't trail at the end of regulation, so why do the final outcomes matter
