May be heading that way this upcoming weekend for a day or two.

Any recs appreciated.

Activities, place to stay, restaurants, night life.

Thanks!

If you can wait, it's much nicer to visit in cooler weather.

For stays- Southern Star Hotel or a BnB in old Covington or Old Mandeville by the lake.
Both areas have restaurants and bars, etc that are walkable.

Go to Abita Brewery or one of the other brew pubs in the area. Rent bikes and ride the Abita Trace. The ride from Mandeville to Old Covington is nice.

Enjoy a beer on the balcony at Barley Oak as the sun goes down

If you do one thing on the Northshore, do this

There's not much to do but going to the lakefront is always nice and there's plenty of good food options down there as well.
