Nor do victims of other crimes that doesn’t change the fact that there is not an unlimited amount of time and resources for the DA/police to prosecute. If you want to throw the book and DUI vehicular manslaughter that’s fine, just know that will take a lot of time and there is always a risk in a jury trail that they find the defendant not guilty.
