Two things...buy you a solar powered pool skimmer. I bought an Ariel earlier this year and it does a heck of a job keeping the pool clean. Secondly, remove those crepe myrtles as soon as possible as they are the devil when it comes to pools. You can plant holly trees or some type of conifer depending on the look your going for.

We bought a dolphin premier pool robot last year and it has helped tremendously! Sadly I know we will have to cut down the crepe myrtles. I hate to do it because they are so mature and beautiful, but you’re right
