Holiday's best time in the 100m in High-school was 10.43... this kid is faster as a junior... he will go sub 10 sec after a few years of training at LSU. Also, is this the fastest 100m ever for a high school kid coming to LSU?
Thank you for sharing. I was wondering how this compared to Holiday, Kennison, Carter, Brazil, Cummings, etc at that age.
Love having these speedsters. Worst case bust floor scenario for dudes with that kind of speed is elite special teams players. That’s basically the floor.

Some of those may be harder to find, but here is Xavier Carter as a junior and a senior.
Junior year: 10.38 seconds in the 100 m, 20.69 seconds in the 200 m, and 45.88 seconds in the 400 meters
As a senior Carter ran 10.29 s the 100 m, 20.49 s in the 200 m, and 45.44 s in the 400 m.
Anthony Schwartz and Tyreek Hill have medals from youth world championships, and Hill’s bests from high school are 10.19/20.14 while Schwartz ran 10.15 and 20.47
No wind times for Watkins or Carter are listed. Schwartz and Hill are wind legal times.
For even broader context, Noah Lyles went 10.08 and 20.09 after high school graduation, and he may have the 200 world record by the time he retires.
