London.
Have said this several times on here and it is a great hack. Go see the Tower of London. To me, coolest thing in town. Here is the hack, tickets are bought in time blocks to keep crowding down. Buy in advance for THE FIRST TIME BLOCK OF THE DAY. Show up an hour before opening with a coffee and pastry and get in line. The second they open the gate, this is critical, haul arse straight to the back of the grounds to the Crown Jewels.
Don't stop to talk, to read, to look at anything. Just get back there. We did this and walked right in to see the display unimpeded. There were so few people in there that we went through twice. By the time we came out, there was a 90 minute wait line that makes a Walt Disney ride look tame. Once you see the jewels, now go back to the front and see the rest of the grounds or take one of the guided tours.

My two cents...
Dublin
If you are doing the Guinness Tour, upgrade and do the CONNOISSEUR EXPERIENCE where you get to pour a pint and hear stories about Guinness, Stout, etc...
Kilmainham Gaol
Christchurch - do the crypt
St. Stephens Green - a beautiful park to walk thru
Pubs on Lower Baggot that I love...Toners (my favorite) and Doheny and Nesbitt (usually easier to find a seat here), and if you go to Upper Baggott...Searsons is terrific for pub food
Depending on when in September, the rugby world cup will be going on and the pubs in Dublin (Slatterys near the stadium will be greate) will be great fun and same in London.
For London, I always recommend the Churchill War Rooms...just terrific
