re: What are your earliest memories of hunting/fishing?

Was able to squirrel hunt with my grandfather 1 time, although he was alive until I was in my 30’s. I was probably 7 or 8. He let me use his double barrel .410 and we got 1. He said that’s enough for today. On family land. Cherished memory. Idiot cousin got the gun and somehow ruined it. I’d pay anything for that gun now or another day with him.
