I remember walking (the crowd was more flowing) through the French Quarter, and there was an Oklahome fan standing behind a post so that as the crowd passed he was taunting the LSU fans who were celebrating right after the game.
He told me, “You guys will never win another one.” Oklahoma has not won one since, and we’ve won two more. That’s why beating the snot out of them in 2020 was so satisfying to me.
