My "Les Miles" Opinion

I have not liked Les Miles since day one. I thought he was a "horrible" hire. Skip, being the tight wad settled for medicoraty, instead paying top dollar for a better coach. I don't care that Les had three 11 win seasons; I don't care that he won a National Championship. His record is over-rated anyways.
Although he does have a great record, I have always questioned it. In his 4 years, he has 13 nail bitter "Wins" that he managed to squeak out, 4 of them in OT. All the other games were played well, but come on we played Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Mississippi St. and a bunch of non-conference games. What coach can't beat sorry teams like that? Honestly he has only out coached 4 teams in a game; 3 of which were bowls, and the other being Va. Tech. He has not once outperformed UF, Tennessee, Georgia (gotten killed both times), Auburn or Alabama. He is has squeaked by them or gotten beat.
He lacks the motviation, discipline, and intensity that some of the other big names coaches have. Clearly he has made some big mistakes on a few recruits. He is also too loyal, sometimes it is better to cut ties. All of this is showing in this years team. They seem like they don't care. This year has just added to my dislike for Miles as a coach. He is definitetly near the bottom of the SEC coach list for me; even with his N.C. and his 41-10 record!

It reads like it could be satire...but I'm thinking it's not.

I have money on this guy saying that he has always loved Les Miles after we turn things around next year.

With that introduction, your opinion is pretty useless.
Did you name your right hand "Nick" ?

Some LSU fans blow my mind. He won the NC and SEC last year. Whoever you are, you are a pathetic fan to want to boot the coach less than a year after the championship. I remember going to LSU games after the NC when Nicky was still there and fans were bitching about losing 2 games during the season. No wonder he wanted to try the NFL.
Hey, genius, which coach that is available would you hire to replace him?

Did you see the lack of discipline the OU players exhibited last Saturday night? They are a bunch of thugs but are a damned good team. They had to send a staring D linemen home last year from the Fiesta bowl for shoplifting.
It is all about recruits and assistant coaches. Les has done a good job with the exception of the Malveto experiment.
I too did not like the hire but Les has proven he belongs. What SEC coaches do you place ahead of Les?
1- Urban Meyer- I agree. He is one of the best.
2- Mark Richt- No way. He has done so little with so much. He has two BCS bowl wins. One over a pitiful Hawaii team and the other over a worn out Fl St team.
3- NTP Saban- We shall see. I think Nick loses too many games he should win. At LSU and Bama.
4- Houston Nutt- He has won one New years day bowl game as a HC. No SEC championships.
5- Tubberville- Maybe. I like Tubbs as a coach. He got hit with the same thing we did. No returning QB. Needless to say it hurt AU worse than it hurt us.
6- Spurrier- Maybe as well. He has skins on the wall and the same number of NC as does Les.
7- Croom-?
8- Rich Brooks-?
I think you are reaching. You may be right but the stats are so heavily weighted against your argument it fails in every area except opinion.
