Ridiculous insurance spikes has turned South LC into a no go zone, and that was the only nice remaining area of that town. Plenty of opportunity for high earning in SWLA, but it's being washed away with ridiculous home insurance spikes. Moss Bluff and North has a more promising future.

Yes, Lake Charles needs decades of no hurricanes/insurance spikes for it to shine. The problem with living further north than Moss Bluff is the long af commute to the economic hub of the region.
