1st and only time I got one I thought it was just stomach upset from drinking coffee on an empty stomach, then it just got progressively worse, I thought it was either appendix burst or the most severe stomach cramps ever, I was balled up in my mattress in fetal position (somehow this relieved it a little) rocking back and forth it hurt so bad, then went to the toilet to throw up, then my mom drove me to an urgent care and I was yelling over every bump we hit on the roads/interstate, even the radio being on hurt. I wanted dead silence and no motion. Urgent care was closed and so we went to ER. Right when I got to the ER, it stopped hurting. Apparantly it had gotten through the smaller orifice. This whole time I had no clue it was a kidney stone. It felt like I had the worst stomach cramps ever like I had run full speed for 75 miles, the kind of stomach cramps you'd get from that if you never run. Was surprised when doc told me it was stones because I was 29, 6'2" 175 lbs, not overweight at all or old. That pain stretch lasted 8 hours.

Most bizarre thing is that I never was aware I passed it. I went for checkup thinking it was still there (2 dif docs said it was 7 mm and other said 4 mm). X ray showed it was gone when I was sure it was still there. I just thought I'd notice pissing a 4-7 mm stone.

It's the very first step in the process of passing one that it hurts the worst, when it moves from kidney to urea. Apparently peeing it out doesn't hurt that bad. Not gonna lie, after X-Ray showed it was gone, I still took 3-4 days off of work saying I was in pain from it to milk it . I deserved it after that hahaha.
