I worked at a place like that. It was really small and informal, but occasionally we'd get a client who required drug testing. The owner of the business would typically drag his feet for a week or so to prevent random weekend stoners from scuttling the job.

Outside of that, I haven't been drug tested since 2014. It would sink most software businesses IMO.
