quote:Around 17000 in the US, plenty enough. Unless you're going to really rural areas, you'll always have a supercharger available for any road trip you want to take.
10-15 minutes at a super charger. How many of these are there?
quote:A few
How many people will be using them?
quote:In 4 years, I've waited exactly 0 seconds for a stall every time I've used a supercharger.
How long will the lines be of people waiting to use it?
quote:This is literally an advantage for the EV. They can last longer than an ICE vehicle while idling, running an AC or going at slow speeds.
The battery will die because it is sitting in bumper to bumper traffic for hours, or moving at 15-20mph. While the car is basically idling it is still using battery power to run the AC, radio etc.
quote:Again, this is where you have it backwards. The EV can go farther or longer in those situations you're coming up with.
Yes the EV could make a trip at highway speeds that distance, but not when the time is tripled or quadrupled.
quote:It was factually incorrect, so it does not refute this at all.
My statement above refutes this as well.
