I grew up in Lafayette and now live in Baton Rouge. Wouldn’t move back to Lafayette, in spite of the family nagging me about it for nearly the last two decades. There’s practically nothing I can do in Lafayette that I can’t do several times over in Baton Rouge. And because of the Vermillion River choke points, navigating the city manages to be worse there, in spite of Baton Rouge’s traffic issues.

Grew up in BR and have lived in Lafayette for 10 years. Lafayette is 100x better. Has to do with demographics and such.
